Slacker

I really need to get back into blogging.  I have not been writing or reading them so snack my ass and I am going to get back in gear.

The kids are about to go back to school.  Toby will be a Junior.  He is still doing a great job in football.

What you did miss was that he won the State championship in wrestling last year at 220 pounds- it was exciting!

Trey and Dylan will be freshman this year- I can't even believe it.  Trey loves basketball but is also an amazing football player.  Dylan loves wrestling and broke his shoulder last year in wrestling, so he will have to sit out this football season.

Then there is the Princess.  Going into third grade.  She is taking 5 dance classes this year and is a handful.  She is growing up way too fast.

Bryce is married and still living in Virginia.  He and Kallie just got their first puppy.  Her name is Colley.  Taya and I are going to see him next week so I will have pictures of him to share.

Ok, that my update for now.

Trey Basketball

Trey ent out for the 7th grade Middle School team and did well, he also joined his traveling team that only played games on Sunday, usually 2 hours away from home.  He enjoys basketball.  It is Jen's favorite sport- I could take it or leave it but he is good.  Scoring 115 points alone in the last game, the next highest athlete scored 52.  For whatever reason, I was blessed with these athletes and I am feeding their fire.  They are having fun and I get lots of scrapbook pictures.

 Love the goofy shot

Christmas 2012

I am slowly getting caught up on the blogs.  This was a nice Christmas having all my kids home.  I have no idea why everyone is standing up to open their gifts- lol

 Trey in his new glasses
 Toby getting a sweatshirt
This was Christmas Eve because the stalkings are still up
Bryce and the  girlfriend Kallie- have I mentioned I love having him home? lol
It was hard to buy him gifts this year, I had no clue what he needed
Taya with her stalking on Christmas morning

 Nice outfit Trey!
Toby with his new letter jacket!  It is hard to get pictures of him, I have to promise not to post them on Facebook, but he never said my blog. :)
Dylan relaxing with his new Tablet
Grandpa, Bryce and Trey waiting to eat.
My honey carving the turkey- it was so much better than my miserable Thanksgiving. :)
Kallie is airbrushing a tattoo on Trey and he seems to think it hurts- what a puss

A great Christmas was had by all.

Family Pictures

So happy to have our Sailor home for Christmas, so we had to take some family pictures.  Poor Dylan has been throwing up all night, so we had to hurry.  I am not sure Taya let go of Bryce during his whole visit.

Happy Birthday Toby!

How I was blessed with such an amazing child is beyond me.  Toby, you were the hardest to get pregnant with, took me almost 3 years and 2 surgeries.  I had low progesterone and they told me you might not make it.  I took progesterone pills every 4 hours for three months- waking up in the middle of the night, just to make sure that you hung on, and you did.

You were three weeks late- and you had the biggest head- a big 8 pound 10 oz baby.  I was in love with my little boy.  Everyone kept talking about how beefy you were, but to me you were so tiny.  A few short hours later, I was on my way to Children's hospital with you on one of the snowiest nights of the year.  You had some heart problems and they told me not to get attached to you- but once again you showed them and you were a fighter and you came home with me.  The best feeling was walking out of Children's with my boy.

I carried you until you were three- I swear you were  never going to walk or talk- but the time I spent worrying about you and protecting you and making life altering decisions about you- only made our bond stronger.

Now you are 15- you amaze me.  You are the hardest worker I know.  You hate to lose.  You continue to struggle with your heart, but will not let it slow you down- you figure out a way to make it work.  Most folks would use that as a crutch- but not you.  You are in all honor classes, a Freshman on two Varsity sports- you have lettered three times already this year- the kids at school call you The Future- and you are just that.  I am so proud to be your Mom.  Your Coach's are so proud of you- they say you are amazing and so coachable- what a compliment.  You are funny and witty and just a great kid.  I love you- Happy 15th Birthday.

Winter Dance Recital

Taya's dance recital, winter 2012.   To be honest, Taya is the one who goes left when the group goes right.  She is not fond of practice, but she loves being on the stage!  She is having fun and that is what matters.  I think her smile says it all. The other reason she has such a big smile is because her favorite brother Bryce surprised her right before she went on stage.  She had not seen him in a few months and he showed up in his uniform and there was a dance off and he got up on stage a shook his bootie.  He won her a free months tuition.  So, he just gets cooler and cooler in her eyes.  I sure love these kids!

13 year old Twins

I have no clue where the time went, or how it happened, but I am now the Mother of 13 year old Twins!  It seemed like yesterday that I was trying to conceive them, that the DR. told me I was carrying triplets but one did not develop a heart beat and to be cautious because I may lose another or both- phewey I said and called everyone as soon as my pants were back on!

I remember having the US and they said, there is a boy, I was so sad and upset for I wanted a girl so bad.  Still hoping the other would be a girl, but nope she said two boys!  I was mistaken I thought I wanted a girl, but I am so happy that I had these two great boys!

Trey, you are 6 foot tall and 165 pounds.  You are a great student, a natural athlete at every sport you try.  You are handsome, caring, smart, and very loving.  You treat your girlfriend so sweet and I am excited to see the man you will grow up to be.

Dylan, my little Dill pickle.  You are 5'3" and 105 pounds.  You have a heart as big as Texas and would do anything or anyone.  You amaze me, I would hate to be Trey's twin, you always have to work harder at things, but you do.  You are an amazing wrestler and are going to do big things with that.  You still hug your Mama and will be my little boy.  I love having you as my baby boy.

Happy Birthday to my great Twins.  I am thankful for you every day.

Trey and his BFF Garrett at Benihana's
 Dylan and his friend Sterling
The guys.  I dared them to all get up and dance during the Birthday song and I would give them $10 each- they did not do it. :(
Trey with his brownie- not a big cake fan
Taya and I along for the ride, and I guess to pay the bill-lol  Jen had to work, like always

Thanksgiving 2012

Ok, I know I suck so I am just going to try to plat catch up.  I really hate it when people post like 15 blogs in a day, so I am going to try not to do that- but catch up as best I can.

 Grandpa and Trey
 Grandpa and Dylan
This is Grandma, she is a diabetic and she can sniff out the sweets and can't control herself, it is really comical how she attacks them when she thinks no one is looking
 Toby, Trey and Grandma
 Grandpa and Taya
Thanksgiving this year sucked.  It was my first year without Bryce home.  Jen had to work, I was sad and depressed and not in the mood.  I overcooked the turkey because the thermometer broke and I did not know it so I kept on cooking, and cooking until it was so dry that I could barely eat it.  I have also never carved a turkey- Jen always does it and I think Bruce did it once for me when Jen was working- but I had to do it- so it looked like a hacked up, dry, over cooked stupid bird by the time I was done with it.

I invited Jen's parents over and they said they were going to her Uncle's so I did not worry about them. Then when they came over later that night after Jen got off work, they told me they went to Golden Corral, so then I felt like crap because they went out to eat when they should have been at my house and I guess I should have pressed them more for their plans, so they day just got worse and worse.  Glad it is behind us.
